Kaufman

Space age home of Brooklyn musician Josh Kaufman.
The summer of 2011 was spent mainly indoors, specifically in basements… primarily the basement of 68 Jay Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn at Saltlands Recording studio.  I, along with pals Steve Salett and Jim Smith recorded, arranged and produced  a lot of music.  One of the big thrills and challenges was getting to work on the new Balthrop, Alabama record.  Check out the first installment - an EP of remixes as well as the title track from their forthcoming LP entitled “Electricity”.

PS - follow that Balthrop link and you can also view Michael Arthur’s badass and beautiful video for the single.
